Printed Blinds Finish Federation Home
From Orange, NSW we're excited to bring you these beautiful shots of Nicole Campbell's newly renovated Federation home, finished with Florence Broadhurst by Materialised printed blinds!
This beautiful Federation style cottage had fallen into disrepair when Nicole bought it in 2018.
Nicole wanted to restore the heritage listed property to it's former glory. At the same time, plans for a modern barn style extension to the house were developed - to give the property a beautiful modern meets federation dynamic.
Printed roller blinds were the finishing touch. Nicole tells us that she was looking for printed blinds for months: "we had planned to have neutral coloured walls so we thought a printed blind would be a great way to add a design feature to each of the rooms".
Nicole chose the Maple Leaf design by Florence Broadhurst. She thought this was the perfect design for Orange (a region famous for its autumn maple trees) And to make it the perfect design for this cottage - Nicole matched the grey in the Maple Leaf design to the colour of the bedroom architraves and skirting boards (Dulux Winter Fog).
For the modern extension, NIcole chose the popular Crosshatch Texture design - a subtle design, that gives you something 'more' than a traditional one colour roller blind.
"I'm so happy with the look that the blinds give to the property. It is a point of difference, and compliments the paints and furnishings perfectly".
