Bay and ocean beaches in and near Lewes, Delaware provide swimming, fishing, boating and a host of other water sports. Located off of Cape Henlopen Drive, Beach 1 and Beach 2 provide guarded swimming from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Lewes public beach is a nice beach with a very large and convenient parking , with rest room facilities right there. Parking is inexpensive and well worth not having a long walk with all your beach stuff. If you are looking for big waves then this is not the beach for you.
Lewes and Rehoboth are only about four miles apart, so you could easily stay at one and visit the other.
