1. Sell Your Dishwasher
Is your dishwasher still in working condition, but you decided to upgrade to a newer model? Maybe you’re finally getting around to replacing it so it matches your other appliances. Either way, selling your dishwasher is a great option! This way, you’ll get a little money that you can put towards the new one and you won’t have to worry (too much, at least!) about carting it off. If you’re not sure how to find someone to buy your old dishwasher, try putting out an ad in the classifieds section of the newspaper, posting in Facebook groups, or creating an ad on Craigslist!
2. Donate Your Dishwasher
If your dishwasher is still usable and you don’t want to deal with trying to sell it, donate it! If your local charities aren’t willing to take it, look into various non-profits, missions, and shelters in the area. Even if they can’t use it, they might be able to assist you in finding someone who does. Asking neighbors and putting feelers out with friends and family members to see if any of them could use a “newer” dishwasher can also be worth it.
3. Recycle Your Dishwasher
If your dishwasher isn’t working at all, recycle it!
